      The UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS) (Bates et al. a,b) is an annual survey of the food consumption and nutritional status of a UK representative sample of people per year ( children and adults) aged 18 months and above. Hard Red Spring Wheat Report The regional quality report provides data on grading factors, kernel quality, flour quality, dough properties and baking quality for the hard red spring wheat crop grown in North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, South Dakota, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

At NDSU, varieties must meet certain quality parameters before they can be released for commercial production. This analysis is done at the spring wheat and durum quality labs on the NDSU campus.

One of the most important marketing tools the commission uses with customers is the annual crop quality survey. This data product contains statistics on wheat—including the five classes of wheat: hard red winter, hard red spring, soft red winter, white, and durum and rye. Includes data published in the monthly Wheat Outlook and previously annual Wheat Yearbook.

Data are monthly, quarterly, and/or annual, depending upon the data series. The North Dakota Wheat Commission releases several publications on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
